Dr. Annie Berner is a Pittsburgh native raised in Monroeville. She graduated from Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, PA with a dual BS in cell and molecular biology and organismal biology. From there, she went on to The Ohio State University and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. After graduating from vet school, Dr. Berner practiced large and small animal medicine in Ohio where she gained loves for surgery, ophthalmology, and dermatology. Dr. Berner moved back to Pittsburgh (she just couldn’t stay away!) with her husband, Jonathan, in 2010. They have two children, Julian and Jacob, and a Boxer named Daphne. All of them love being outside and enjoy spending free time hiking, biking, and swimming. Dr. Berner and her family also enjoy good books and good food. In recent years, Dr. Berner has developed an interest in animal behavior and fear-free patient interactions. She is excited to be the Managing DVM of the EEVMC team and looks forward to the honor of working with you and your pets.
