Dr. Alexa Cramer grew up in the suburbs of Pittsburgh. She has wanted to become a veterinarian for as long as she can remember! She graduated from The University of Pittsburgh in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Ecology and Evolution and a minor in Chemistry. From there, she went on to The University of Pennsylvania and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2022. Throughout veterinary school, Dr. Cramer developed special interests in surgery, cardiology, and dermatology. Upon graduation, she moved back to Pittsburgh to practice here at East End Veterinary Medical Centre, where she previously worked as a veterinary technician. In her free time Dr. Cramer likes running, reading, making bread, and cycling. She is a self-proclaimed cat lady with three kitties, Peaches, Goose, and Marvin. On the weekends, Dr. Cramer and her partner enjoy exploring the city and trying new restaurants and breweries. Dr. Cramer strives to build strong client and patient relationships at EEVMC. She is excited to meet you and care for your beloved pets!
