Andrea M. Cangin, DVM
Dr. Cangin grew up just outside of Annapolis, MD. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Agriculture from the University of Delaware where she majored in Animal Science. Then she completed her DVM at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. Fond of telling people that her diploma comes from the only school in the world with two university seals on it; one from the University of Maryland and the other from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (a.k.a.Virginia Tech), she’s definitely a big Hokies fan.
Moving to Western Pennsylvania upon graduation from vet school, Dr. Cangin now lives in Pittsburgh with her very grumpy cat who will not permit any other animals to live in the house. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, bike riding, playing softball and following the Steelers, Pens, and Bucs. Go Black and Gold.
